How to request deletion of your data from mepersona.ai

Your Right to Delete Your Data

In compliance with Facebook Platform Terms and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to request deletion of any data we have collected through our platform, including data obtained via Facebook and Instagram integrations.

What Data We Store

When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account, we may store:

  • Your Facebook/Instagram user ID and account name
  • OAuth access tokens (used to read comments on your behalf)
  • Comments and messages retrieved from your Facebook Pages and Instagram posts
  • Analytics data related to your connected platforms

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Email Request

Send an email to our support team with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

  • Your name and email address associated with your mepersona.ai account
  • Your Facebook/Instagram username (if applicable)
  • A description of what data you'd like deleted

Option 2: Disconnect from Your Account

You can disconnect your Facebook/Instagram integration at any time from the Platforms page in your dashboard. Disconnecting will remove your stored credentials. To also delete historical message data, please contact us via email.

Option 3: Facebook App Settings

You can also remove our app's access directly from your Facebook settings:

  1. Go to Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings
  2. Click "Apps and Websites" in the left menu
  3. Find "mepersona.ai" and click "Remove"
  4. Check "Delete all posts, photos, and videos on Facebook that mepersona.ai may have published on your behalf"
  5. Click "Remove"

This will trigger an automatic data deletion request to our servers.

Processing Timeline

We will process your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted. Some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention), as described in our Privacy Policy.
